It is with great pleasure that I accept the position as chairman of the legal committee for the Latino
Officers Association Florida.
The members of the committee and I look forward to working with various elements within and outside
of our organization. It is the duty and responsibility to our members that this committee affirm our
commitment to the American values of justice and fairness, and to make certain that our fundamental
right of fairness and equality continue to be sustain by the various law enforcement departments to
which our members belong.
Please stand with us and make it clear to those who seek to diminish the sense of fairness will be met
with strong opposition by legal means.
Your membership is the lifeblood of our organization; the actions of our members speak louder than
their words.
