This letter is in response to your request for records pertaining to ethic census information regarding Latino
officers employed by our agency. I am providing you with a copy of our Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office EEOC report
(see attached). The most recent information available is form March 1, 2005. The report does not include information
on personnel above the rank of lieutenant, but the information you request is as follows:
Chief Deputy 1 Hispanic male
Colonels 4 White males
Majors 10 White males, 1 Black male, 1 Black female
Law Enforcement Captains 6 White males, 1 White female
Detention Captains 2 White males, 2 Black males
In response to your last three question the answers are as follows:
*The agency does employ Spanish speaking 911 operators which are available 24 hours a day.
* The agency does provide victims with a victim's rights brochure which is available in Spanish
*At this time, the agency does not provide Spanish translation on our public web-site, but it is under construction and
is anticipated to be completed by June 30, 2005.
Also, for your information, our Hispanic Liaison Officers are Deputy Juan Gonzalez and Deputy Evidio Rodicio.

In accordance with Florida Statute 119.07, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office requires a fee when reproducing

Overall High ranking position are greatly lacking effort in the entry level is needed. Overall rank of the HSCO
is ( D). We also have knowledge that the census information that we ask for
and charged $35.42 was actually conducted in March of 2005 before our request.
