Attached is a copy from the City of Hialeah Police Department: Agency rating (B).  

With a population of over 90% Latinos the agencies  is doing good but could have the agency
web-site up to date and in Spanish. Hopefully next year.

Pursuant to your public records request of June 28, 2005, we have gathered the following
information.

1. Census information with regard to Hispanic Police Officers within the City of Hialeah

One Police Chief (Male)

One Police Deputy Chief (Male)

Two Police Captains (Male)

Ten Police Lieutenants (Male)

Thirty-two Police Sergeants ( Four Females / Twenty -eight males)

One hundred ninety-nine Police Officers (One hundred seventy -eight Males / Twenty-one
Females)

Thirteen Police Officers Trainees (One Female / Twelve Males)

2. The City of Hialeah Police Department does issue victim brochures in Spanish.

3. The City of Hialeah does have Spanish speaking 911 operators.

4. The City of Hialeah does not presently provide Spanish translation of its website.

As to your request seeking the "name of the Hispanic liaison officer assigned to the agency", I
need you to
specify what you mean by " Hispanic liaison officer". One way of doing so might be to describe
the job
function of the person or persons whose name you are seeking.
