The Latino Officers Association Florida will aid the membership in issuing a  EEOC complaint. The LOA has
members who have been trained to properly recognize and draw up federal equal employment opportunity
violations that are filed on behalf of the member. These members are EEO certified. To date the members
that are EEO certified have successfully filed countless equal employment opportunity violations.

Scholarship Program:
A member's child participates in an open competitive aptitude test administered by an independent proctor.
Those children who score the highest are awarded scholarships available during that period. This ensures
that every member's child has a fair and equal opportunity at winning a scholarship. The exam is
administered annually.
